The NCAA announced on Thursday, March 12 that they have cancelled its men's ad women's college basketball tournaments, known as March Madness, in response to the coronavirus outbreak. The ISFSI participation with the tournament has also been cancelled.
It's that time of year again; college basketball fans (including the March only fans) across the country are not only filling out their brackets, but also planning where they will watch the the first round of games.
For the first time ever, ISFSI members can go head to head in what will become the biggest, baddest competition the Society has ever seen. Compete with your fellow ISFSI peers to see who will come out on top with the "ISFSI Membership March Madness".
How to participate:
- Register online to gain access to the ISFSI Pool. Registration is only $15 (to benefit the ISFSI Membership Scholarship). You can register online here: https://www.isfsi.org/p/ca/vi/sid=408
- Once you are registered you will receive the link to the official ISFSI March Membership Madness Page as well as instructions on completing your bracket.
Important Pool dates/times
- Bracket entry opens on Sunday, March 15 after 6:00 pm ET; Selection Sunday
- Deadline for bracket entries is Thursday, March 19 at 12:15 pm ET; tip off of the first round. No picks will be allowed after this time.

- First Four Games - March 17 & 18 (not included in bracket)
- First Round - March 19 & 20
- Second Round - March 21 & 22
- Sweet Sixteen - March 26 & 27
- Elite Eight - March 29 & 29
- Final Four - April 4
- Championship Game - April 6
All proceeds from the ISFSI Membership March Madness will benefit the ISFSI Membership Scholarship to pay it forward to deserving instructors who may not have the opportunity to join the Society due to various circumstances including financial hardships.
