Tricks of the Trade for Live Fire Training

A comprehensive discussion on live fire training based on the NFPA 1403 Standard and how standards are often misinterpreted by the fire service. The discussion will go into detail with NFPA 1403 along with results from the UL-FSRI Study on Fire Service Training Environment: Safety, fidelity, and Exposure. Captain Gray will discuss his experience as a former member in his training division, as a lead live fire hands-on instructor at fire conferences and as a technical panel member of the UL-FSRI training fires study.
