Career or a Calling? Using Case Studies to help develop Leadership is a 90 minute presentation using real, personal events to lead the audience into discussion on leadership topics. This class challenges the audience through interaction with making decisions in difficult situations. This class challenges the audience to consider what really matters, and to decide if they are fulfilling their calling through their career. Topics to be discussed include PTSD, suicide, officer development, firefighter development, and personal development- all using a case study approach of personal events with the instructor. This class will challenge the audience to be the best they can be.

Learning Objectives: 1. How to be a "friend" and also be an officer.
2. How to recognize struggles in your department, and how to address them.
3. Understand change is coming, and it is okay.
4. Strive for excellence because that is our requirement.
5. Help those who are hurting, and revitalize the fire in each of us to make the fire service better.
