ISFSI membership is anniversary date based on the day you join and is 12 months. To join ISFSI, select the membership category below that best fits your professional role in the fire service.

Large Department Membership

For a department to qualify for a Large Department Membership, the department must have more than 100 employees or members.

The base price is $875 annually for the minimum 10 membership registrations. For each additional member registrations up to 20, the annual dues are $67.50 per member and $45 per additional member after that. Department memberships receive full benefits, each member will be given a separate account on the ISFSI website.

Small Department Membership

For a department to qualify for a Small Department Membership, the department must have no more than 100 employees or members.

The base price is $500 annually for the minimum of 5 membership registrations. For each additional member registrations up to 10, the annual dues are $75 per member, and $50 per additional member after that. Department memberships receive full benefits, each member will be given a separate account on the ISFSI website.

Student Membership

Student memberships receive full benefits as annual members. Each student member will be given an account on the ISFSI website.

To qualify for a student membership, you must be a full time student, taking at least 12 credit hours per semester. A copy of your transcript is required to prove full time status.

Retired Membership

Members who have maintained 10 consecutive years of membership and are retired from their full time job.

Chapter Membership

ISFSI Chapter’s consist of pre-established organization, in which at least 25 individuals are members of the ISFSI, including at least 51% of the officers.

Non-Member User Account

Event Attendee

Individuals who are registering for an ISFSI program on the ELEVATE online learning management platform must create a user account prior to registering for the event. By choosing this user account option, you are creating a non-member account with ISFSI. Registration to certain ISFSI programs at the non-member price includes a one-year membership. That membership will be applied by ISFSI staff at the conclusion of the course.

Associate Memberships

The ISFSI Associate Members support the ISFSI's programs and initiatives and the future of education and training in fire and emergency services. Associates are non-voting members of the ISFSI. Learn more about signing up with this program.
