I began in Fire Service right after High School as a Volunteer Firefighter with Farmerville Fire Department. I worked with several departments part-time and was a Building Inspector for the City of Moraine as well as for the City of Sharonville. I started my full-time career with Dayton Fire Department in September 2007 and promoted to Lieutenant in 2018. Current employer is the City of Riverside where I am assigned Battalion Chief on Platoon 3. I have degree in Fire Administration from Sinclair Community College.
I have worked as an adjunct Fire Instructor for ISFSI (Basement Fire HOT, NFPA 1700 HOT, Engine Operations HOT), and Roadmap for Modern Fire Instructor. Current ISFSI Board of Director, Sinclair Community College (Former Lead Instructor for FF 1 & 2 Courses), and Miami Valley CTC (Former Asst. Instructor for FF 1 & 2 Courses)
My wife Jennifer and I live in Brookville, Ohio. We have 5 boys, 1 daughter and 7 grandchildren. We enjoy vacationing to Florida Keys. We are very active with our kids sports and activities.
